[Entry requirement]

» Undergraduate degrees

Goldsmiths welcomes applications from students with US qualifications. You do not need to take UK exams to enter Goldsmiths, and our admissions team will review your US qualifications and establish equivalencies at the point of application.

We understand that the US does not offer a nationalised curriculum and, therefore, one student may have a high school diploma and ACT scores while another may have SATs and Advanced Placement tests. When making admissions decisions, Goldsmiths uses a holistic review process, taking a variety of factors into account including your personal statement, letter of reference, extracurricular activities, test scores and some academic grades.

In recent years, successful Goldsmiths applicants with 'ABB at A Level' entry requirements have had the following academic qualifications:

-       A high school diploma with a GPA 3.0 or higher (unweighted)

-       PLUS either of the following combinations

-       SAT-R 1900 overall (with a minimum of 560 or higher in each section) or ACT 26

-       Two Advanced Placement (AP) tests with a score of 3 or higher, or two SAT-S 600 minimum

English Proficiency

IELTS; 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in the written element and no individual element lower than 6.0)
 -
Equivalencies for programmes needing IELTS 7.0*: 7.0 (with a minimum of 7.0 in the written element and no individual element lower than 6.5)
