g센터를 통해 GLS를 등록한 많은 학생분들이 만족감을 보여 주신 독일 어학원입니다. 베를린은 세계대전 후 대부분의 건물이 파괴되었고 그로인해 거의 모든 건물이 새롭게 지어졌습니다. 때문에 베를린은 유럽의 어떤 도시보다도 모던하고 세련된 건물들이 많습니다. 

베를린의 어학원 중에서는 유일하게 캠퍼스를 가지고 있는 GLS는 사진을 통해서 인테리어만 봐도 한국 학생들이 아주 좋아하는 시설을 자랑합니다. 거기에 아주 합리적인 가격과 우수한 티칭 스탭들을 확보하고 있으니 만족감이 남 다를 수 밖에 없는 것 같습니다.

GERMAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL @ GLS CAMPUS BERLIN, GERMANY

The GLS German language school is the only language school in Germany with a 16.000 m² campus, including the option to live on campus while learning German in Berlin. The park-like campus is a GREEN OASIS in the very center of Berlin, in über trendy Berlin Prenzlauer Berg (more about location and surroundings).

The GLS German Language School is located in the historic center of Berlin, in trendy "Prenzlauer Berg": Around 1900 this district used to be a poor peoples´ habitat. After WW II Prenzlauer Berg ended up in the communist part of Berlin - with many intellectuals and artists living here. After the fall of the wall the district boomed and became thetrend district in Berlin. Some of the main Berlin highlights are within walking distance from GLS

GETTING TO GLS FROM BERLIN AIRPORTS & STATIONS:

A taxi ride costs Euro 20 - 25, but you can easily get to GLS by public transport as well:

  • Airport Tegel TXL: 
    Take the Jet Express Bus TXL till Alexanderplatz (daily shuttle service between 6.00 and 23.00, leaving every 15 or 20 minutes), from Alexanderplatz take metro line U 2, only 3 stops till Eberswalder Straße, from here 5 minute walking to GLS: Kastanienallee 82
  • Airport Schoenefeld SFX: 
    Take the Airport Express train till Alexanderplatz (leaving every 30 minutes), from Alexanderplatz take metro line U 2, only 3 stops till Eberswalder Straße, from here 5 minute walking to GLS: Kastanienallee 82

IF YOU ARRIVE BY TRAIN:

Very simple, no matter at which Berlin station you get off, whether Bahnhof Zoo, Hauptbahnhof or Ostbahnhof - change into any city train (= S-Bahn) going to Alexanderplatz, from Alexanderplatz take metro line U 2, only 3 stops till Eberswalder Straße, from here 5 minute walking to GLS: Kastanienallee 82

If you use a navigation system, type in Kastanienallee 82, 10435 Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg)

METHOD

Teachers @ the GLS German Language School in Berlin encourage you to speak German as much as possible. You´ll get all the corrections, grammar and vocabulary you need to take you to the next level, but our priority is on active speaking. We teach in tandem, with teachers alternating at every break.

TEACHING MATERIALS

Text books: Themen, Aspekte, Mittelpunkt, Oberstufenbuch, plus own materials (literature, newspapers, DVDs)

ACCREDITATIONS

GLS is test center for TestDaF. The German courses at the GLS Campus Berlin are accredited by EAQUALS. EAQUALS inspects language schools: inspections are rigorous and repeated every 4 years. GLS is accredited by the Swedish Ministry for Education and Research, i.e. Swedish students get CSN grants for GLS German courses.
