Chelsea Independent College focuses on helping every student to achieve their potential. For some students this might mean a highly academic course of study whilst for others their preference is for fashion, art or media. The key is to provide students with the support and guidance they need to achieve their goals.Pastoral support is an important part of achieving individual success. Chelsea Independent College works on the basis of mutual respect between staff and students. We spend a great deal of time getting to know our students and what their particular needs might be.

Our teachers are specialists in their subjects and some are public examiners
or published authors. All are experts in their field. Every tutor will do
their utmost to help their students enjoy their classes and achieve the highest
results possible. There are weekly tests and plenty of homework to ensure that
what’s discussed in class is consolidated by personal study.
Our teaching style is unashamedly exam orientated and our methodology
has proven successful over many years.

Our ultimate aim is to prepare students for higher education at a university
of their choice and we have a dedicated team of staff that
give specialist university entrance guidance.

Underpinning our academic programme is an exceptional level of pastoral
support. We believe this plays an important part in helping our
students achieve individual success.  Chelsea Independent College works on
the basis of mutual respect between staff and students. We spend a great
deal of time getting to know our students and in nurturing them, whatever their
particular needs might be.

Extra-curricular

At Chelsea Independent College, we recognise the importance of a broad educational experience with us. To cater for the interests of a diverse student body the College offers a wide range of activities both within the College timetable and outside. Opportunities to be involved in the wider life of the College include the Young Enterprise Scheme, social clubs including debating and chess and various programmes to involve students in the wider community. Sports at the college focus around Football, Basketball, Swimming and Tennis with students, along with the help of the Student Welfare Officer, setting up and running these clubs throughout the year.
